September 8, 2010, Introduced by Senator NOFS and referred to the Committee on Transportation.

 

 

 

     A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled

 

"Michigan vehicle code,"

 

(MCL 257.1 to 257.923) by adding section 610a.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 610a. In addition to the requirement of section 6F.62 of

 

the Michigan manual of uniform traffic control devices adopted

 

under section 608, the state transportation department shall

 

utilize only those traffic control drums bearing flashing warning

 

lights during construction or maintenance work conducted on the

 

roads of this state under the jurisdiction of that department.
