1.4Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 473.123, by adding a subdivision; repealing

1.6BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.7 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 473.123, is amended by adding a
1.8subdivision to read:
1.9 Subd. 3e. District boundaries. Metropolitan Council plan MC2013-4, on file with
1.10the Geographical Information Systems Office of the Legislative Coordinating Commission
1.11and published on its Web site on April 8, 2013, is adopted and constitutes the redistricting
1.12plan required by subdivision 3a. The boundaries of each Metropolitan Council district are
1.13as described in that plan.
1.14 Sec. 2. APPLICATION.
1.15This act applies in the counties of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey,
1.16Scott, and Washington.
1.17 Sec. 3. REPEALER.
1.18Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 473.123, subdivision 3d, is repealed.
1.19 Sec. 4. EFFECTIVE DATE.
1.20This act is effective the day following final enactment.
