1.2relating to public safety; prohibiting the implementation of any federal law

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. NO COMPLIANCE WITH NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION ACT.
1.6The commissioner of public safety shall not take any action to implement or plan
1.7for the implementation by the state of the sections of any law enacted by Congress that
1.8require a national identification card.
1.9EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
