1.2relating to liquor; allowing an on-sale license for the Bluestem Center for the
1.3Arts.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. ON-SALE LICENSE AUTHORIZED.
1.6Notwithstanding any law or ordinance to the contrary, in addition to the number of
1.7licenses authorized, the city of Moorhead may issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license
1.8to the governing body of the Bluestem Center for the Arts for the premises known as the
1.9Bluestem Center for the Arts. The license shall authorize the dispensing of intoxicating
1.10liquor only to persons attending events on the licensed premises, and shall authorize
1.11consumption on the licensed premises only. The license may provide that the governing
1.12body of the Bluestem Center for the Arts may contract for intoxicating liquor catering
1.13service with the holder of an on-sale intoxicating liquor license issued by the city of
1.14Moorhead. The city council shall establish the fee for the license. All provisions of
1.15Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, governing alcoholic beverages not inconsistent with
1.16this law apply to the license.
1.17EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
