1.2relating to liquor; authorizing off-sale license for growlers;amending Minnesota
1.3Statutes 2010, section 340A.405, by adding a subdivision.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 340A.405, is amended by adding a
1.6subdivision to read:
1.7 Subd. 7. Growlers; off-sale. An exclusive liquor store, with the approval of the
1.8commissioner, may be issued an off-sale license by a municipality for off-sale of malt
1.9liquor filled at the tap and packaged consistent with the requirement of section 340A.301,
1.10subdivision 7, paragraph (b), by the licensee on the licensed premises. The malt liquor
1.11must be made available to the licensees in kegs or barrels by a wholesaler or manufacturer
1.12and be otherwise not available in Minnesota by can or bottle. All local ordinances and
1.13state provisions relating to public health are applicable.
