1.4state bonds.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. RICHFIELD; CREATION OF ARTERIAL STREET.
1.7$1,000,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of
1.8employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Richfield to acquire
1.9land for, design, and construct a new north-south arterial street beginning at 63rd street
1.10on 17th Avenue and heading south, in the city. This appropriation is available when the
1.11commissioner determines that an amount sufficient to complete the project has been
1.12committed from nonstate sources.
1.13 Sec. 2. BOND SALE.
1.14To provide the money appropriated in section 1 from the bond proceeds fund, the
1.15commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an
1.16amount up to $1,000,000 in the manner, on the terms, and with the effect prescribed by
1.17Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution,
1.18article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.19 Sec. 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.
1.20Sections 1 and 2 are effective the day following final enactment.
