1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of certain tax-forfeited land that
1.3borders public water.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING PUBLIC
1.6WATER; GOODHUE COUNTY.
1.7(a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 282.018, subdivision 1,
1.8Goodhue County may sell the tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in
1.9paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282.
1.10(b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The attorney
1.11general may make changes to the land description to correct errors and ensure accuracy.
1.12(c) The land to be sold is located in Goodhue County and is described as:
1.13(1) part of Lot 2, Welch Township, Section 26, Township 114 North, Range 16
1.14West (parcel 46.126.0070); and
1.15(2) Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, Block 6, Emerald Valley, city of Wannamingo (parcels
1.1670.147.1010, 70.147.1020, 70.147.1030, 70.147.1040, and 70.147.1050).
1.17(d) The county has determined that the county's land management interests would
1.18best be served if the lands were returned to private ownership.
