1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 84.415, is amended by adding a
1.7subdivision to read:
1.8 Subd. 7. Existing road right-of-way; fee exemption. A utility license for crossing
1.9public lands or public waters is exempt from all fees specified in this section and in rules
1.10adopted under this section when the utility crossing is on an existing right-of-way of
1.11a public road.
