1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 The amounts shown in this section summarize direct appropriations, by fund, made
1.6in this article.
1.12 The sums shown in the columns marked "Appropriations" are appropriated to the
1.13agencies and for the purposes specified in this act. The appropriations are from the trunk
1.14highway fund, or another named fund, and are available for the fiscal years indicated
1.15for each purpose. The figures "2012" and "2013" used in this article mean that the
1.16appropriations listed under them are available for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012,
1.17or June 30, 2013, respectively. "The first year" is fiscal year 2012. "The second year" is
1.18fiscal year 2013. "The biennium" is fiscal years 2012 and 2013. "Each year" is fiscal year
1.192012 and fiscal year 2013, respectively. Appropriations for the fiscal year ending June
1.2030, 2011, are effective the day following final enactment.
2.8The amounts that may be spent for each
2.9purpose are specified in the following
2.10subdivisions.
2.12This appropriation is from the state
2.13airports fund and must be spent according
2.14to Minnesota Statutes, section360.305,
2.15subdivision 4 .
2.16Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section
2.1716A.28, subdivision 6, this appropriation is
2.18available for five years after appropriation.
2.19If the appropriation for either year is
2.20insufficient, the appropriation for the other
2.21year is available for it.
2.22If the commissioner of transportation
2.23determines that a balance remains in
2.24the state airports fund following the
2.25appropriations made in this section, and
2.26that the appropriations made are insufficient
2.27for advancing airport development and
2.28assistance projects, an amount necessary
2.29to advance the projects, not to exceed
2.30the balance in the state airports fund, is
2.31appropriated in each year to the commissioner
2.32and must be spent according to Minnesota
2.33Statutes, section 360.305, subdivision
2.344. Within two weeks of a determination
2.35under this contingent appropriation, the
3.1commissioner of transportation shall notify
3.2the commissioner of management and
3.3budget and the chairs and ranking minority
3.4members of the legislative committees
3.5with jurisdiction over transportation
3.6finance concerning money appropriated.
3.7Money appropriated under this contingent
3.8appropriation does not adjust the base
3.9appropriation for fiscal years 2014 and 2015.
3.15$65,000 in each year is from the state airports
3.16fund for the Civil Air Patrol.
