SB 1255 - This act provides that records containing information concerning a person's HIV infection status or the results of HIV testing may be provided to health carriers for purposes of treatment, payment, and health care operations, as described in the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and its implementing regulations.
