Summary
An Act To Amend Section 37-1-9, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise The Authority Of The State Board Of Education To Administer Oaths, Take Depositions, Subpoena Persons Or Compel The Production Of Documents And Records In Investigative Matters; To Authorize The Board To Apply To The Circuit Court For Enforcement Of Subpoenas And To Afford The Court The Sanction Of Contempt For Failures To Comply; To Exempt All Investigative Documents And Records Of The State Board Of Education And Certain Divisions Of The State Department Of Education Or Its Investigative Units From The Public Records Requirements; And For Related Purposes.
