Summary
An Act To Amend Section 27-7-15, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That If A Taxpayer Received One Or More Qualified Gulf Oil Spill Payments During The 2010 Calendar Year, And The Aggregate Amount Of The Payments Was At Least Two Hundred Percent Of The Average Amount Of The Taxpayer's Annual Gross Income For The Previous Three Years, Then One-third Of The Amount Of The Payments Shall Be Included In The Taxpayer's Gross Income For The 2010 Taxable Year, One-third Of The Amount Of The Payments Shall Be Included In The Taxpayer's Gross Income For The 2011 Taxable Year And The Remainder Of The Amount Of The Payments Shall Be Included In The Taxpayer's Gross Income For The 2012 Taxable Year; To Define The Terms "qualified Gulf Oil Spill Payment" And "gulf Oil Spill" For Purposes Of This Act; And For Related Purposes.
