Summary
An Act To Authorize The Issuance Of General Obligation Bonds Of The State Of Mississippi To Provide Additional Funds For Use By The Mississippi Transportation Commission And The Mississippi Department Of Transportation For Replacement And Rehabilitation Of Bridges On The State Highway System That Are Determined To Be Deficient Or Functionally Obsolete, For The Construction, Reconstruction And Improvement Of Certain Highway Segments Statutorily Designated As High Priority Projects, And To Provide Funds For Use By The Office Of State Aid Road Construction For Grants To Counties For The Replacement And Rehabilitation Of Bridges That Are Determined By The Office Of State Aid Road Construction To Be Deficient And Which Are Not Part Of The National Bridge Inspection Inventory; To Amend Section 27-5-101, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That A Portion Of The Revenues Derived From Motor Fuel Taxes And Allocated To The Mississippi Department Of Transportation Shall Be Deposited Into A Special Fund In The State Treasury And Used To Pay The Debt Service On Certain Bonds Issued Under This Act; And For Related Purposes.
