Summary

An Act To Amend Section 99-15-26, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize Courts To Impose House Arrest As A Condition Of Nonadjudicated Sentences For Certain Crimes; To Amend Section 41-29-150, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Courts May Utilize House Arrest As A Reasonable Condition For Only Certain Drug Crimes; To Amend Section 47-5-1001, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Expand The Definition Of The Term "court" To Include County, Municipal And Justice Courts For Purposes Of Allowing Such Courts To Utilize House Arrest Under Certain Conditions; And For Related Purposes.
