Summary
An Act To Authorize The Issuance Of State General Obligation Bonds To Provide Funds For The Purpose Of Defeasing Mississippi Development Bank Special Obligation Bonds Issued For The Purpose Of Accelerating Certain Highway Construction Projects For The Mississippi Department Of Transportation Under Section 65-1-8; To Amend Section 65-1-8, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Prohibit New Agreements Made By The Mississippi Transportation Commission Under This Section For The Purpose Of Accelerating Certain Highway Construction Projects; To Bring Forward Section 3, Chapter 520, Laws Of 2010, As Amended By Section 39, Chapter 569, Laws Of 2013, Which Authorizes The Issuance Of State General Obligation Bonds For Various Road And Bridge Purposes, For The Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
