Summary

An Act To Amend Section 67-1-51, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Create A Package Retailer's Special Permit For Conducting Wine Tasting Or Sampling Events; To Provide That The Holder Of The Special Permit May Conduct An Event Solely For The Purpose Of Offering And Serving Limited Amounts Of Samples Of Wine At No Cost To The Consumers Thereof; To Limit The Number Of Such Events That The Holder Of The Special Permit May Conduct; To Require That Such An Event Must Be Conducted In An Area That Is Separated From The Point Of Sale Of Any Wine Or Other Alcoholic Beverage; To Require The Holder Of The Special Permit To Notify The Alcoholic Beverage Control Division Of The Department Of Revenue In Advance Of Each Event; And For Related Purposes.
