Summary

An Act To Amend Section 73-7-27, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Increase The Amounts Of The Fines That The State Board Of Cosmetology May Impose Upon A Licensee Or Certificate Holder For Violations Of The Cosmetology Laws Or Rules Or Regulations Of The Board; To Provide That Whenever The Board Imposes A Fine Upon A Licensee Who Is A Practitioner, The Board Also Shall Impose A Fine Upon The Owner Of The Establishment In Which The Licensee Works, Or Upon The Manager Of The Establishment If The Establishment Is A Corporation; And For Related Purposes.
