Summary
An Act To Amend Section 43-13-117, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That Rural Hospitals That Have Fifty Or Fewer Licensed Beds Shall Be Given The Option To Be Reimbursed Under Medicaid For Outpatient Hospital Services Based On 101% Of The Medicare Rate For Those Services Instead Of Using The Ambulatory Payment Classification (apc) Methodology; To Provide That Outpatient Hospital Services Provided By Those Rural Hospitals Shall Not Be Subject To The Five Percent Reduction In The Provider Reimbursement Rate Applicable To Certain Other Services Provided Under This Section; To Extend The Date Of The Repealer On This Section; And For Related Purposes.
