Summary

An Act To Amend Section 37-17-6, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Abolish The "a" Through "f" Accountability Rating System, And Replace It With A Percentage Designation Ratings Ranging From Zero Percent To One Hundred Percent Effective With The 2022-2023 School Term; To Prescribe The Criteria To Be Used In Making The Determination Of Accountability Including Quality Indicators And Academic Indicators; To Require The State Department Of Education To Assist Local School Boards In The Establishment Of An Education Accountability Program; To Amend Sections 37-9-13, 37-17-15, 37-17-17 And 37-19-10, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Preceding Provisions; And For Related Purposes.
