Summary

An Act To Amend Section 17-17-27, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require Landfills And Certain Other Waste Disposal Sites To Be Located A Certain Minimum Distance From Municipalities, Schools, Residences, Churches Or Health Care Facilities Unless Allowed By Written Agreement From The Governing Body Or Owner; To Provide That Landfills And Certain Other Waste Disposal Sites That Were In Operation Before July 1, 2011, May Continue To Operate Regardless Of This Minimum Distance Or Written Agreement Requirement; And For Related Purposes.
