Summary
An Act To Provide Full Suffrage Restoration To Any Person Disqualified By Reason Of Criminal Conviction; To Amend Section 23-15-11, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Revise Who Shall Be Considered A Qualified Elector; To Amend Section 23-15-19, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The Secretary Of State And The Mississippi Department Of Corrections To Collaborate To Ensure Voters Are Placed Back On Voter Rolls; To Amend Section 23-15-47, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Section; To Amend Section 23-15-213, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require Training For Elections Commissioners To Ensure Voters Who Were Disenfranchised Are Allowed To Register To Vote; To Amend Sections 23-15-223, 23-15-125, 23-15-151, 23-15-153 And 23-15-165, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Preceding Section; To Bring Forward Sections 97-39-3 Amd 99-19-37, Mississippi Code Of 1972, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
