Summary

An Act To Amend Section 43-11-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Direct The State Department Of Health To Require Personal Care Homes To Have A Current Privilege License To Do Business Issued By The Local Municipality And To Report The Number And Names Of Each Of Their Residents On An Annual Basis; To Direct The Department To Report The Business Name And Operator Of Any Unlicensed Personal Care Home To Local Law Enforcement Authorities; To Provide That The Operator Of Any Unlicensed Personal Care Home Is Guilty Of A Misdemeanor And Shall Be Punished By Imprisonment, A Fine Or Both; And For Related Purposes.
