Summary

An Act To Authorize The School Board Of A Local School District To Adopt The Curriculum To Be Taught In The Schools In That District; To Require A School District's Curriculum To Be Approved Annually By The State Department Of Education In Order To Ensure Compliance With State Requirements And Assessment Standards; To Amend Section 37-13-9, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require The Curriculum Committee Appointed By The State Board Of Education To Recommend Changes That Should Be Made To The State Curriculum Guidelines; To Amend Sections 37-1-3, 37-3-49 And 37-9-14, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Preceding Provisions Of This Act; And For Related Purposes.
