Summary
An Act To Amend Section 97-17-71, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Prohibit Transactions Involving The Sale Of Copper Materials To A Scrap Metal Dealer Unless The Seller Is A Licensed Plumber, Electrician, Contractor Or Holder Of A Certificate Of Responsibility Or Demolition Permit; To Require A Scrap Metal Dealer To Maintain A Scanned Copy Of A Seller's Appropriate License, Certificate Of Responsibility Or Permit; To Bring Forward Section 97-17-71.2, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Governs The Sale Of Air Conditioner Evaporator Coils And Conditioners To Scrap Metal Dealers, For Purposes Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
