Summary
An Act To Amend Sections 71-5-353 And 71-5-355, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The Mississippi Department Of Employment Security To Modify Unemployment Insurance Rates For Continuation Of The Workforce Enhancement Training Fund Program Following December 31, 2009; To Provide For Indices Applicable To Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund Taxation And Provide For The Rate Of Contributions For Workforce Enhancement Training Fund Contributions; To Provide Conditions For The Suspension Of The Workforce Enhancement Training Fund Contributions In Years Subsequent To 2009, And To Provide Certain Definitions; To Revise The Definition Of The Terms "cost Rate Criterion" And "size Of Fund Index" For Purposes Of The Mississippi Employment Security Law; And For Related Purposes.
