Summary

An Act To Amend Section 57-26-1, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Include Certain Hotels Within The Definition Of The Term "tourism Project" For Purposes Of Tourism Project Sales Tax Incentive Program; To Amend Section 57-26-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Remove The Provision That Prohibits, From And After July 1, 2014, For Tourism Projects That Are Cultural Retail Attractions, And From And After July 1, 2017, For Other Tourism Projects, The Mississippi Development Authority From Issuing Certificates Designating An Entity As An Approved Participant And Authorizing The Approved Participant To Participate In The Incentive Program; And For Related Purposes.
