An Act To Amend Section 37-17-6, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize And Direct The State Board Of Education To Establish A Rural Education Development Initiative (redi) To Provide Support Services For Rural Schools And Rural School Districts; To Develop A Definition Of Rural School And An Accountability Rating System For Rural Schools; To Provide For A Realignment Of Student Testing Procedures At Rural Schools; To Provide For Additional Intervention Specialists To Be Assigned To Rural Schools By The State Department Of Education; And For Related Purposes.
