Summary

An Act To Amend Section 27-65-75, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Increase, From 18.5% To 19.5%, The Portion Of The State Sales Tax Revenue Collected On Business Activities In A Municipality That Shall Be Paid To The Municipality; To Provide That 10% Of The State Sales Tax Revenue Collected On Business Activities In A County, And Not In A Municipality Or On The Campus Of A State Institution Of Higher Learning Or Community Or Junior College, Shall Be Paid To The County; To Amend Section 27-65-53, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform; And For Related Purposes.
