(COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE)

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF PANOLA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO ALLOW THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF NORTHWEST MISSISSIPPI, TO USE A COUNTY OWNED BUILDING AND TO PROVIDE OTHER ASSISTANCE TO THE CLUB; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, is authorized, in its discretion, to allow the Boys and Girls Club of Northwest Mississippi, located in Batesville, Mississippi, to utilize a county owned building on a rent free basis.  The county is further authorized to assist with insurance, utilities, transportation as well as provide other forms of assistance to such Boys and Girls Club that the board of supervisors deems to be in the best interest.

     (2)  This section shall stand repesaled from and after July 1, 2021.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
