AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO REMOVE TREES ALONG THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF A HIGHWAY DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Mississippi Department of Transportation is directed, as soon as practicable, to remove trees along the right-of-way of the highway that shade the highway preventing the melting of ice or snow.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2011.
