AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF NEWTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE MULTI-COUNTY COMMUNITY SERVICE AGENCY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Newton County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute an amount not to exceed Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) in any fiscal year, out of any available funds of the county, to the Multi-County Community Service Agency, operating various programs in and for Newton County.

     (2)  This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2021.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
