A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to provide for the reallocation of funds upon the closure of a north carolina national guard armory.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Article 10 of Chapter 127A is amended by adding a new section to read:

"§ 127A‑129A.  Reallocation of funds upon armory closure.

The Adjutant General may reallocate the unit fund and any nonappropriated account from an armory that is closed to a hub or armory that becomes the successor in interest to a closed armory."

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
