A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to establish an additional magistrate position in dare county.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 7A‑133(c) reads as rewritten:

"(c)       Each county shall have the numbers of magistrates and additional seats of district court, as set forth in the following table:

SECTION 2.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Judicial Department the sum of fifty‑eight thousand two hundred thirty‑seven dollars ($58,237) for the 2015‑2016 fiscal year and the sum of fifty‑five thousand one hundred fifty dollars ($55,150) for the 2016‑2017 fiscal year to establish an additional magistrate position for Dare County.

SECTION 3.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2015.
