A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate additional funds for special education scholarships.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Board of Governors of The University of North Carolina the sum of two million eight hundred thousand dollars ($2,800,000) for the 2015‑2016 fiscal year and the sum of two million eight hundred thousand dollars ($2,800,000) for the 2016‑2017 fiscal year to be allocated to the State Education Assistance Authority to fund special education scholarships awarded and disbursed pursuant to G.S. 115C‑112.6.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2015.
