HOUSE BILL 1296
AN ACT relative to membership of the therapeutic use of cannabis advisory council.
COMMITTEE: Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs
This bill adds a member of the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police to the therapeutic use of cannabis advisory council. The bill also limits eligibility of public members appointed to the council.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT relative to membership of the therapeutic use of cannabis advisory council.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
98:1 New Subparagraph; Therapeutic Use of Cannabis Advisory Council; Member Added. Amend RSA 126-X:9, I by inserting after subparagraph (n) the following new subparagraph:
(o) A member of the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police, appointed by the association.
98:2 Therapeutic Use Of Cannabis Advisory Council; Public Member. Amend RSA 126-X:9, I(k) to read as follows:
(k) One member of the public, who is not a law enforcement officer, employee of a government agency, contractor for a government agency, elected official, or healthcare provider, appointed by the governor.
98:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
