STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Three

 

AN ACT relative to nonresident licensure by the board of barbering, cosmetology, and esthetics.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Barbering, Cosmetology, and Esthetics; Non Resident Licensure.  Amend RSA 313-A:14 to read as follows:

313-A:14  Nonresidents.  The board shall license any applicant who is similarly licensed in any other state or territory, provided the [other state's licensing requirements are substantially equivalent to or higher than those of this state] applicant holds a current license in good standing in accordance with rules adopted by the board under RSA 313-A:8, I and II.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
