STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Five

 

AN ACT removing requirements that schools provide menstrual products in restrooms.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Repeal.  RSA 189:16-a, relative to menstrual hygiene products in schools, is repealed.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

METHODOLOGY:

This bill eliminates the requirement that school districts provides menstrual hygiene products. To the extent school districts choose to stop providing such products, there could be a cost savings.  The impact of this bill, if any, is indeterminable as it would vary from district to district.
