STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two
AN ACT relative to a feasibility and impact study for the construction of a pier on Hampton Beach.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Hampton Beach Pier Feasibility Study. The Hampton Beach area commission shall study the feasibility and impacts of constructing and maintaining a pier directly south of Boar's Head in the town of Hampton. The commission shall report its findings and any recommendations for proposed legislation to the speaker of the house of representatives, the president of the senate, the house clerk, the senate clerk, the governor, and the state library on or before November 1, 2022.
2 Appropriation. The sum of $150,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, is hereby appropriated to department of natural and cultural resources and shall be disbursed to the Hampton Beach area commission for the feasibility study relative to building a pier in the town of Hampton. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
