METHODOLOGY:
This bill requires the Department of Environmental Services study the feasibility and impacts of constructing a pier directly north of Boars Head in the Town of Hampton, and report its findings to the legislature. The Department states it does not have the in-house expertise to perform such a study and therefore would have to contract out for those services. At this time, the Department cannot estimate the cost associated with this type of study, however, does anticipate any expenditures to occur in FY 2023.
