SYNOPSIS
Requires body of water between Korean peninsula and Japan be called "East Sea" for all governmental purposes.

An Act concerning the geographical name of a body of water and supplementing Title 52 of the Revised Statutes.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. For all governmental purposes, the State and its political subdivisions, to the extent practicable, shall refer to the body of water between the Korean peninsula and the nation of Japan as the "East Sea."
Nothing in this section shall be construed to require the State or its political subdivisions to incur expenses in order to comply with the provisions of this section.
2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill requires the State and its political subdivisions, to the extent practicable, to refer to the body of water between the Korean peninsula and the nation of Japan as the "East Sea." The bill would not require the State or its political subdivisions to incur expenses in order to comply with the bill.
