SYNOPSIS

     Requires each casino licensee conducting Internet gaming in this State to prominently advertise name of its Atlantic City casino on its Internet gaming websites and advertisements.

An Act concerning casino licensees' Internet gaming websites and advertisements and supplementing P.L.1977, c.110 (C.5:12-1 et seq.).

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    Each casino licensee that conducts Internet gaming in partnership with its Internet gaming affiliate under a license issued by the Division of Gaming Enforcement shall cause the name of the licensed casino and its Atlantic City property to be prominently displayed on each Internet gaming website it operates under that license, and to be prominently printed, displayed, announced, or otherwise disseminated on each form of Internet gaming advertisement conducted by the licensee or its Internet gaming affiliate.  The division shall review each licensee's Internet gaming website and Internet gaming advertisement for compliance with the provisions of this section.

 

     2.    This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill requires each casino licensee that conducts Internet gaming in partnership with its Internet gaming affiliate under a license issued by the Division of Gaming Enforcement to prominently advertise the name of the casino and its Atlantic City property on each Internet gaming website it operates under that license, and to prominently print, display, announce, or otherwise disseminate that name on each form of Internet gaming advertisement conducted by the licensee or its Internet gaming affiliate.  The bill requires the division to review each licensee's Internet gaming website and Internet gaming advertisement for compliance with these requirements.
