Summary

The purpose of this bill is to relieve the ever growing burden from New York State's motorists of the excessive gas prices by amending the tax law to remove state sales and compensating use taxes on diesel fuel and motor fuels. This bill is especially important in travel season between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
