Summary

To protect the children of this State from those predators who attempt to lure or entice minors under 17 years of age or those posing as a minor for law enforcement purposes by means of a computer or into a vehicle or a secluded area for the purpose of harming them.

Title

Creates the crime of attempting to lure or entice a child and makes such crime a class D felony; provides that the creation of this separate crime shall not preclude, if the evidence so warrants, an indictment and conviction for attempted kidnapping.
