       AN  ACT  to  amend  the criminal procedure law, in relation to powers of
         certain federal law enforcement officers
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Subdivision  6  of section 2.15 of the criminal procedure
    2  law, as amended by chapter 68 of the laws of 1983, is amended to read as
    3  follows:
    4    6. Federal Protective Officers,  INCLUDING  LAW  ENFORCEMENT  SECURITY
    5  OFFICERS,  CRIMINAL  INVESTIGATORS  AND  POLICE  OFFICERS OF THE FEDERAL
    6  PROTECTIVE SERVICE.
    7    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
        EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                             [ ] is old law to be omitted.
