JOHNS -- read once and referred to the Committee on Local Governments AN ACT authorizing the town of Webster to transfer and convey the Robb Cemetery to the village of Webster THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of town law to the contrary, 2 the town of Webster, acting through its legislative body, is hereby 3 authorized to discontinue the use of the abandoned pioneer cemetery 4 known as the Robb cemetery, described in section two of this act, and 5 convey its interest in such real property to the village of Webster, 6 county of Monroe, following a public hearing, upon terms agreed upon by 7 the town of Webster and the village of Webster to restore and maintain 8 such cemetery. Such transfer shall be made only upon the adoption of a 9 resolution by the board of trustees of the village of Webster requesting 10 the town of Webster to make such transfer. 11 S 2. The real property authorized to be conveyed by the town of 12 Webster pursuant to section one of this act shall be described as 13 follows: the parcel of land constituting the abandoned pioneer cemetery 14 known as the Robb cemetery, with tax account number 080.10-2-34, situ- 15 ated adjacent to and immediately west of 256 East Main Street in the 16 town of Webster. 17 S 3. The land to be transferred pursuant to this act shall be main- 18 tained, owned and operated by the village of Webster. 19 S 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
