       AN  ACT  to  amend  the  public  health law, in relation to establishing
         certain  additional  substances  as  Schedule  I   opiate   controlled
         substances
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Subdivision (b) of Schedule I of section 3306 of the public
    2  health law is amended by adding six new paragraphs 56, 57,  58,  59,  60
    3  and 61 to read as follows:
    4    (56) 3,4-METHYLENEDIOXYMETHCATHINONE (METHYLONE).
    5    (57) 3,4-METHYLENEDIOXYPYROVALERONE (MDPV).
    6    (58) 4-METHYLMETHCATHINONE (MEPHEDRONE).
    7    (59) 4-METHOXYMETHCATHINONE.
    8    (60) 4-FLUOROMETHCATHINONE.
    9    (61) 3-FLUOROMETHCATHINONE.
   10    S  2.  This  act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall
   11  have become a law.
