DiPIETRO, RIVERA -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT to authorize approval of certain transportation contracts of the Dansville central school district THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. All the acts done and proceedings heretofore had and taken 2 or caused to be had and taken by the Dansville central school district 3 and by all officers, employees or agents of such school district relat- 4 ing to or in connection with transportation contracts C270724 and 5 C270725 for the 2012-2013 school year with Livingston-Wyoming ARC, and 6 all acts incidental thereto are hereby legalized, validated, ratified 7 and confirmed, notwithstanding any failure to comply with the contract 8 award, approval, and filing provisions of the education law, the general 9 municipal law or any other law or any other statutory authority, rule or 10 regulations, other than those filing provisions defined in paragraph a 11 of subdivision 5 of section 3604 of the education law, in relation to 12 any omission, error, defect, irregularity or illegality in such proceed- 13 ing had and taken. 14 S 2. The education department is hereby directed to consider the 15 aforementioned contracts for transportation aid as valid and proper 16 obligations of the Dansville central school district. 17 S 3.
