        AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the  city  of  New  York,  in
          relation  to  requiring an engineer certification that any paving done
          is in compliance with the department  of  transportation's  specifica-
          tions with regard to road pitch for purposes of drainage
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Section 19-115 of the administrative code of  the  city  of
     2  New York, as amended by local law number 104 of the city of New York for
     3  the year 1993, is amended to read as follows:
     4    §  19-115  Paving, generally. All streets shall be paved and arched in
     5  full accordance with department  specifications  for  such  work,  which
     6  shall  be  prescribed by the commissioner and kept on file in his or her
     7  office. Such paved streets shall be in full accordance  with  department
     8  specifications  with  regard  to road pitch for purposes of drainage and
     9  shall be certified to be in compliance with  such  specifications  by  a
    10  professional  engineer,  licensed pursuant to article one hundred forty-
    11  five of the education law.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
