          on Local Governments -- committee discharged,  bill  amended,  ordered
          reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee
        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  general municipal law, in relation to providing
          district management association members with written notice  of  meet-
          ings
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Section 980-m of the general municipal law  is  amended  by
     2  adding a new subdivision (e) to read as follows:
     3    (e)  The  district management association shall give written notice of
     4  meetings to all members of such  association  pursuant  to  section  six
     5  hundred  five  of the not-for-profit corporation law notwithstanding the
     6  eligibility of members of the district management association  to  vote.
     7  The  district management association shall also make available, upon the
     8  request of a member, minutes of such meetings.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of November next succeed-
    10  ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
