STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 10520 IN ASSEMBLY May 4, 2018 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. NORRIS, PEOPLES-STOKES -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT relating to building aid for certain facilities of the Lockport city school district The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law, rule or regulation to 2 the contrary, the property described in section two of this act, which 3 was acquired by the Lockport city school district by deed dated October 4 5, 2016, shall be deemed to be property of the school district contig- 5 uous to existing school buildings and shall be eligible for building aid 6 for site development. 7 § 2. The property of the Lockport city school district referred to in 8 section one of this act is more particularly described as follows: 9 ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND situate in the Town of Lockport, 10 County of Niagara, State of New York, being part of Lots 4 and 6, 11 Section 13, Township 14, Range 6 of the Holland Land Company's Survey, 12 and being more particularly described as follows: 13 BEGINNING at a point in the center line of Beattie Avenue which is a 14 measured distance of 1,064.80 feet south from its intersection with the 15 center line of Lincoln Avenue said point being the southwest corner of 16 lands conveyed to Jay W. Heschke and Viola Heschke in Liber 689 at page 17 17; thence southerly along the center line of Beattie Avenue, a distance 18 of 190.00 feet to a point thence easterly on a line parallel with the 19 south line of Heschke in Liber 689 at page 17 and also being parallel 20 with the north line of Jacob Stagner in Liber 158 at page 498, a 21 distance of 233.00 feet to a point; thence southerly on line parallel 22 with the center line of Beattie Avenue, a distance of 1235.14 feet to a 23 point on the southerly line of lands conveyed to Stagner in Liber 158 at 24 page 498; thence easterly along Stagner's south line, a distance of 25 2039.99 feet to a point 400.00 feet west of the west line of lands 26 conveyed to Tim C. Mulvey and Mary Ellen Mulvey by deed recorded in 27 Liber 3232 at page 270, said line also being the west line of "Lock 28 Haven Estates" subdivision in Book 60 of Microfilm Maps pages 6013 and EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [] is old law to be omitted. LBD13897-01-7A. 10520 2 1 6014; thence northerly parallel with west line of "Lock Haven Estates 2 Subdivision" as filed in Book 60 of Microfilmed Maps at pages 6013 and 3 6014, a distance of 1496.13 feet to a point on the north line of Stagner 4 in Liber 158 at page 498: thence westerly along the north line of Stag- 5 ner in Liber 158 at page 498, a measured distance of 2225.62 feet to the 6 northwest corner of Heschke lands at Liber 689 at page 17; thence south- 7 erly along the east line of Heschke lands in Liber 689 at page 17 and 8 parallel with the center line of Beattie Avenue, a distance of 70.00 9 feet to the southeast corner thereof; thence westerly along the south 10 line of Heschke in Liber 689 at page 17 and parallel with the north line 11 of Stagner in Liber 158 at page 498, a distance of 160.00 feet to the 12 point of beginning. 13 § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
